My first post

I was asked to start doing a blog so here goes. It has been an eventful last couple of weeks. On Thursday May 1, I had a meeting at church and Morgan, Andrew, Emilee came with me. They went into the nursery room and the next thing I know Andrew comes in and says a table fell on Morgan’s foot. The next day she went to school and walked around on the foot and didn’t bother to tell me it hurt. I called the doctor over the weekend but they told me to wait until Monday to have it looked at. I still wasn’t sure if I should take her in. Joe was in Utah so the thought of going to the emergency room was not thrilling. Come Monday morning her foot was still swollen so I took her in . The doctor ordered x-rays but it didn’t show a break. The next day Morgan had a field trip to a floating lab and of course didn’t want to miss it. So she went to it on crutches. By the time that day was over her foot was still swollen and very tired. On Wednesday I called the doctor back and they set up an appointment with the orthopedic doctor. Finally on Thursday the doctor did another set of x-rays, still no breaks so they casted her foot so it could heel. She gets to wear the cast for 3 weeks. She was excited to have no P.E. the rest of the school year. Emilee also got to have a visit from the tooth fairy last week. Joe pulled her tooth out Tuesday morning before school. Andrew has enjoyed going to scouts with his mom as the leader.

I have been busy. I work for 45 minutes each day at my kids school as a playground supervisor. I really enjoy it. Friday was my birthday. I haven’t got all my presents yet. My friend is going to take some nice family pictures of us. Joe is doing this for my birthday present. We went to Red Robin for my birthday dinner. Mothers Day was also great. I enjoy getting the gifts that my kids make. Joe made his wonderful homemade pasta for dinner. Morgan, Andrew, and Emilee made some cake.
